6 Pillars of a Wedding Day: Things You Shouldn't Ignore

The wedding day is undoubtedly one of the few special days in your life. You should plan to do it once, and do it right! Planning a wedding can be a tricky business. No wonder why people avoid this headache by employing the services of a wedding planner. You would not want the memories of such day to haunt you forever, as a result of bad planning.

So, let’
s do the work of a wedding planner together here, as we thoroughly examine 6 important elements that make a wedding day unforgettable. :)

THE WEDDING DRESS
The wedding dress is a heart of the wedding. Every woman looks forward to putting on the wedding gown,
as family and friends anticipate the sight of gracefulness. It is a matter not to be taken lightly at the very least - take your mind off renting or hiring. It is your special day, and I don’t think you intend to do 2 or 3 or 4 in your lifetime, so SPOIL YOURSELF! Get a befitting gown that will bring you out to the spotlight. Manage your budget so you can afford an elegant yet not too expensive gown.

PHOTOGRAPHY
Regardless of how observant you seem to be, pictures beat you! And that i
s one of the reasons photography makes our list today (plus I am a wedding photographer ;)). Every moment matters on a day such as this, and it takes an expert and dedicated photographer to capture those moments. From the first moment of preparations, to arrival at the venue, walking down the aisle, exchange of vows and rings, kiss, laughter, hugs, tears, and I could go on and on, and that is why you need a professional photographer along the way.

MUSIC
Experience shows that live bands outperform DJs. Why? They a
re the only ones that can truly dictate the atmosphere and translate it into befitting songs, unlike already-made songs. Music is a mood booster and part of the memory being created.

HAIR AND MAKEUP
Appearance matters a lot, and by appearance I mean your hair and makeup. A person can summarize all about you within 15 seconds of looking at your hair and makeup, and I believe you will want it to be a good summary. Everything has to flow naturally: your hair, your makeup and the dress. Hence, it is imperative you try out different combinations of colours and styles. It will be embarrassing putting on a makeup that melts halfway through the wedding or making a hair that decides it is time to come off long before you want it to.  Moreover, these are the ‘small’
things that spice up (or embitters) good photography.

FLOWERS
Flowers spark and add life to the scenery. So, talk with a florist and get good flowers within your budget, at a fair price, taking the flower seasons into considerations

FOOD AND DRINKS
Obviously, this comes last to remind us that no matter how elegant you dress or how beautiful and well- arranged the venue is, guests will not be completely happy or satisfied when their tables are empty (or imperfect). Let your caterer/chef know the value of what they are doing and make the food experience on the same level as everything else being prepared.
