Unique structures tend to bring a sense of awe into us. They represent something unconventional
that doesn’t follow the norms, nor abides by the status quo, yet serves a greater purpose
standing as a reminder of a great history. They testify of the times when passion and curiosity
led the way of the humankind.
The Palm House in Royal Botanic Gardens in Kew was the first glasshouse built on this scale.
It was constructed in 1844, inspired and engineered from the ship building industry,
which explains the upturned shape of the ship. Nowadays, it assembles the rarest
and the most exotic species of palms, together with other tropical and subtropical plants,
many of which are extinct in the wild.
Equal to the lush greenery in this astonishing historic treasure, the bright and playful love
between Gia and Vojtech was a breath of fresh air. As a London wedding photographer,
the lavish background made me realize that the most wondrous things stand the test of time
while aging gracefully. Such testaments make people admire its strength and beauty,
as much as lovers like these two do.
At the moment, due to Covid-19 pandemic, we are living in utter uncertainty.
Our capabilities are being tested to the limits, while our expressions of love are scrutinized.
Because of the quarantine and social isolation, many couples are not able to be together.
What was a lover’s nightmare before, not being able to hold each other in a warm embrace,
is a raw reality we are facing today. Despite the fact I have photographed this
Romantic London Couple Session few months prior pandemic took its stroll,
I can’t help myself but to feel every image more deep inside of my soul than before.
The tests of today might be the hardest we ever had to face, but just as love overcomes
natural disasters, wars and cultural changes, it emerges victorious and more powerful
than ever before. Compassion and patience will also overcome this test.
Our life purpose is to love unconditionally. And with love, hope intertwines.
That undeniable hope that helps love endure storms, makes embraces stronger,
the stare in a loved one’s eyes longer, heartbeats faster and every touch of the lips more savory.
It is times like these that puts us in check, reminds us who we truly are
and what is our higher purpose in this world.
We learn not only to survive life, but most importantly, live it right.
P.S. get inspired by creative things these two love birds are creating.
