Dustin may very well have struck out with Mahsa if it wasn't for a little help from Cupid.
For Mahsa, Dustin was just another guy with a couple of lame pickup lines when they met at a sports match in Doha, Qatar. She was on duty as a nurse, while he had come to enjoy a match with his friends. That's when he spotted her – he knew he had to talk to her.
She was beautiful and dedicated to her job; he instantly felt drawn to her compassionate spirit and brilliant smile. Dustin tried his best to get her number, but it was no use. Mahsa was just not into him. The story should have ended there, right? Well, Mahsa couldn't shake the nagging feeling that she should have given this guy a chance. Something about him was not like the others who had attempted to woo her. No, this man was different.
After a little bit of Facebook stalking and a lot of luck, she managed to find him using only his first name and occupation. They ended up going on a date, which then led to a whirlwind romance that neither one would have dared miss out on had they known. The happy couple are now engaged to be married!! :))
Photographing them proved to be a challenge due to Qatar's modesty laws of no public showing of affection. Nevertheless, Mahsa and Dustin managed to sneak a few kisses, and the results were nothing short of magical. Her smile could light up the night!
We chose Aspire Park as the first location because of its breathtaking waterfront views. The second location, a local burger place, was where they had their first dance.
I guess you could say it's where the magic happened!
Mahsa is currently working on getting her papers in order so that she can move to the United States with love of her life. Both she and Dustin are very hopeful about their future, and I know their love will continue to blossom throughout the years. He could have left her alone, and she could have never found him on Facebook, but luckily fate was on their side.
I wish you many happy years of marriage, Mahsa and Dustin!
Keep your heart open,
