I was getting ready for a travel in Lithuania to photograph a wedding. I have one personal rule for business trips - whenever is possible, I like to stay couple of days extra in a new country to explore its beauties. Of course, my suitcases and bags were not prepared night before my flight (like always) as I was too busy Googling. I was reading about this lovely country and searching for places to visit and locations where I can photograph my bride and groom. Until I saw it! By accident, I have stumbled upon Jakiškiu Dvaras! It made my heart rush like no other venue before! Gintaire from PURE make-up art helped me organising a bridal editorial in a very short notice! I was very excited about it and could not stop talking about the amazing castle we will be shooting in! The drive from Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania, took us 3 hours. Impatient and bored from such a long drive, girls were bit suspicious and complained we could have used some other castle closer, in order to save traveling time... The moment we stepped into doorway, words became useless for the sight! We all agreed the hustle driving was totally worth it! We had such a great time exploring rooms and castle's hidden gems, using tattered walls as backgrounds and incredible decorations Balta Kate put together. Fun, fun, fun. Oh, did I mention we had fun? :) Even tough it was a long day, we had a lots of fun from the start 'til the end - laughing, joking, making fun of each other. I can easily say we had a perfect team for the job.
