Indian weddings, specially the ones in Jaipur, include many pre and post wedding rituals that extend the happy occasion through days before and after the actual wedding day.

All these colorful events bring the whole family together to celebrate the union of two souls
and wish them love and happiness for the years to come.
Mehendi has become such an integral part of the wedding ceremony that it cannot be imagined without it. It is a traditional, yet exciting pre-wedding ceremony where henna paste
is being applied to bride’s arms and legs in a beautiful designs and patterns.
This Mehendi ceremony in Jaipur was all about fun, joy and a splash of colors,
and the JW Marriot’s rooftop was transformed to a perfect backdrop for a lively afternoon.
The Haldi ceremony is also a beautiful mix of traditions and a fun day out, and it is considered
to be one of the most vibrant experiences in an Indian wedding journey.
It took place in JW Marriot Jaipur pool side where family and friends applied turmeric paste on the bride and the groom’s face, neck, hands and feet. Traditionally it’s believed that the turmeric paste will bring prosperity to the couple, protect them from negative energies, purify and cleanse their bodies, exfoliate and give their skins that happy glow!
