It is always rewarding to see your own work and the efforts every single creative put into
making a vision come to life, but it is even more amazing to see the same work being featured
at an UK Wedding Blog Plans and Presents.
Alison, a former Wedding and Event Consultant turned full-time wedding blogger, shares her thoughts and creative ideas, so I was super excited when she decided to feature
my Tony Duquette’s Dawnridge House wedding editorial.
Alison says: “This wedding editorial strays far from anything traditional, and throws the wedding rule book out the window opting for styling with bold, vivid tones."
"It just screamed opulence through the use of intricate and colourful wallpapers.
The grand furnishings added an extra ‘oomph’ incorporating unique shapes, rich textures and bright decoration. Even the table décor had its own life of colour. Gold trimmed plates intensified the luxurious feeling alongside the patterned glassware."
"A vision where pattern on pattern on pattern thrives, it would scare off those less atune to risk but those willing to push the boat out will be excited when they see the finished result.
This rich and vivid world of luxury sets up a different tone to couples wanting a wedding that will scream eccentric."
If you haven't seen this editorial so far, you can click here and see the full gallery on my blog.
And definitely let me know whether you would be brave enough for such a wedding theme! :)
